Researcher resources

Our researchers do everything they can to improve the lives of patients. We do everything we can to support that vital work. As the only research center in Wisconsin dedicated solely to issues of children's health, Children's Research Institute supports the full continuum of interdisciplinary pediatric research to benefit children's health. The proximity of our laboratory space to Children's gives researchers and patients access to the latest and best developing therapies available in treating pediatric diseases.

In January 2007, Children's dedicated a new, $140 million biomedical and translational research facility. The research center, a collaborative project of Children's and the Medical College of Wisconsin, is located on Watertown Plank Road in Wauwatosa, close to our research partners and collaborators on the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus. The 298,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art research facility includes space for bench laboratory research and vivarium space, as well as other shared service support space and administrative support. Additional research laboratories are located throughout the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus.

Whether you're looking to join the institute or collaborate with our talented staff, we invite you to explore our work in more depth. (Current institute investigators can find additional resources on the Children's intranet.)
