Jessica M Hanley, MD is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery at Children’s Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin. 

Dr. Hanley is originally from Michigan and graduated with a bachelor of science from the University of Michigan. She subsequently moved to Milwaukee where she earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She then finished her Orthopedic Surgery residency training at the University of Iowa before moving to Boston. There, she completed a fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at Harvard/Brigham & Women’s and Boston Children’s Hospital. 

Dr. Hanley treats a broad spectrum of adult and pediatric hand and upper extremity conditions, with a particular interest in pediatric upper limb trauma and congenital hand differences.

Dr. Hanley has multiple peer-reviewed publications and has presented at many national and regional orthopedic surgery conferences. She is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), Mid-America Orthopaedic Association (MAOA) and Pediatric Hand Study Group.
