Implementation- Putting your plan into action (SPF Step 4)

Implementation involves putting the steps outlined in the strategic plan into action. Prioritizing specific action steps is important to project success, including taking into account community preparedness, the available capacity and resources, training and readiness of key community partners, and cultural competence considerations.

The specific intervention/prevention programs implemented in Rusk County include Teen Intervene, a widely used evidence-based program for teen substance abuse, and The Teen Leadership Academy, a unique program we developed. The links below provide a detailed description and sufficient information to allow for replication of each program.
