How do we get an appointment?
After a referral is made, the team works together to make an appointment for your child.
What should we expect at clinic visits?

- Before the first visit, your child may need to get a few blood tests.
- At the first visit, you will meet with one of our pediatric nurse practitioners to discuss any blood tests done before the appointment, blood tests still needed and your child’s overall health. You will also meet with a nutrition specialist to set goals for living a healthy life.
- The first visit to clinic may last two or more hours.
- Your child will meet monthly with our nutrition specialists to review goals, talk about struggles with goals and keep working on improving health. These visits last around 60 minutes.
- Your child will meet with our pediatric nurse practitioners 3 to 6 months after the first appointment.
