Lulu's story

Meet Lulu, a creative first grader from Milwaukee. Lulu was just 5 years old when her parents took her to the doctor after a series of bruises and nosebleeds. A routine test confirmed the worst, and she was rushed to Children's Wisconsin where, that very day, she began treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Lulu completed her treatment in our MACC Fund Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders — marked by a ceremonial "ringing of the bell."
