Marissa Selthafner is a physical therapist at Children’s Wisconsin, specializing in complex spine diagnoses including scoliosis, kyphosis, disc involvement, spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis. She completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at Sacred Heart University (2001) and her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. Marissa is a certified C2 Barcelona Schroth therapist with a focus on treating adolescent idiopathic scoliosis using a variety of methods. Marissa has participated and presented multiple case studies on the efficacy of physiotherapy scoliosis specific exercise (PSSE) and their impact on adolescent idiopathic scoliosis nationally and internationally. Marissa’s interest includes manual therapy, exercise, and dry needling interventions for disorders of the spine, pelvis, hip, and ankle.
