Dr. Van Valin is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in Pediatric Orthopedics.  He sees all types of patients and has an interest in pediatric sports medicine, trauma, fractures, club feet, arthroscopies (including knee, ankle, elbow, and shoulder) and various other pediatric conditions. He has published in various medical journals and is active in teaching orthopedic residents.

Dr. Van Valin is active in numerous professional organizations to include Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA), American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) and the Council of Orthopaedic Residency Directors (CORD)
