Fee-for-service nutrition counseling
In addition to staffing inpatient units and outpatient clinics on Children's main campus, a Clinical Dietician is available to see patients independent of a medical specialist for nutrition counseling services at the following locations:
- Children's Wisconsin Clinics - New Berlin
Our dietician can help with a variety of nutrition issues, such as poor weight gain, overweight, high cholesterol, picky eating, and some food allergies, among other concerns.
- Children's Wisconsin Clinics – Greenfield
Our dietician focuses on issues related to sports nutrition, such as hydration, injury or overtraining recovery, nutrition supplements, and vegetarianism.
Developed by dietitians at Children's Wisconsin using evidence-based tools and information, the Clinical Nutrition Handbook is an excellent on-line nutrition care resource for providers and students caring for kids at any pediatric site.
The Children's Wisconsin's Carb Factor App gives you a quick and easy way to calculate the exact amount of carbohydrate in the foods you're eating.
