Guide to downloading diabetes devices
Tidepool Uploader – any insulin pump
- Install the Tidepool Uploader on your computer.
- Create a Tidepool account.
- Download your child's pump to the Tidepool uploader as instructed on Tidepool website.
- Log in to Tidepool account, select “share” and enter email address: diabetesclinic@childrenswi.org.
Omnipod DASH -- Glooko
- Create a PodderCentral account.
- Create a Glooko account.
- Install the Glooko mobile app on your child's phone.
- Turn on DASH PDM and connect to Wi-Fi network.
- Enable automatic upload with Glooko via web browser.
- Go to my.glooko.com and sign in.
- Select settings.
- Select Apps & Devices.
- Click Connect to DASH Cloud.
- Enable automatic upload via Glooko mobile app.
- Connect ProConnect code: childrenswisconsin in account settings.
Omnipod 5 – Glooko
- Connecting your Omnipod 5 to Glooko
If you do not connect your Glooko account during Omnipod® 5 onboarding, you may do so at a later date within PodderCentral by following the instructions below:
- Login to your account at PodderCentral.
- Select Diabetes Data from the toolbar.
- Select Link in line with Glooko to connect your Omnipod 5 to your Glooko account.
- If you are having trouble linking your Omnipod® 5 from within PodderCentral, please contact Omnipod® Support. https://www.omnipod.com/contact-us
- Once connected through the onboarding process, you will be able to check your Omnipod® 5 connection status within Glooko by following the steps below:
- Select the account initials in the top right.
- Select Settings.
- In the Apps & Devices section, the Omnipod® 5 button will display as Connected.
Entering a ProConnect code in Glooko®
Entering a ProConnect code in Glooko® is the only way for your health care provider to see your Omnipod® 5 data at your next visit.
- Log in to Glooko® at my.glooko.com.
- Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu (top right on the home screen).
- Scroll down to Account and select “+ Add New Code.”
- Select “Continue.”
- Enter ProConnect Code childrenswisconsin, then select “Submit.”
Tandem T-slim X2 – T:connect
- Create a T:connect account.
- Install the T:connect app on your child's phone.
- Connect your child's TX2 pump to your T:connect app on your phone via Bluetooth.
- Provide the clinic with the username and password of the account to link with the Children's health care account.
- Make sure to leave app open or go into the app once a day to ensure data transfer.
- Download by computer:
- Install the T:connect uploader on your computer.
- Plug the TX2 pump into the computer and open the uploader.
Medtronic – CareLink
- Install the CareLink uploader on your computer.
- Create a Medtronic CareLink account.
- Install the CareLink app on your child's phone.
- Download by either:
- Plugging your child's Contour Next 2.4 linked meter or CareLink USB in the computer, placing Medtronic 670G pump and opening the uploader OR
- Connect your child's Medtronic 770G to your CareLink app on your phone via Bluetooth
- Provide the clinic with the username and password of the account to link with the Children's health care account.
Dexcom mobile app
- Install Dexcom Clarity app on your child's mobile device.
- Share data with the clinic by requesting a clinic invitation code.
- Select profile.
- Select share.
- Select accept invitation and enter the code provided by clinic and your child's date of birth.
- Install the Dexcom Clarity software on your computer.
- Log in using your Dexcom username and password.
- Download the Dexcom receiver by plugging it in the computer and opening the uploader.
- Share data with the clinic by requesting a clinic invitation code (call (414) 266-2860 to request code).
- Select profile, share, accept invitation and enter the code provided by clinic.
Libre mobile app
- Open the menu on the LibreLink app in the upper left corner with 3 bars.
- Select share.
- Select LibreView.
- Select “Connect to practice.”
- Enter the clinic ID 02540503.
- Create an account on LibreView.
- Download the LibreView uploader on your computer.
- Download the Libre receiver by plugging it into the computer with your yellow charging cord.
- Share data with the clinic by clicking “my practices” and enter the clinic ID 02540503.
