This treatment involves your child receiving all nourishment via hypoallergenic liquid supplements instead of solid food. This treatment, which sometimes requires the use of tube feeding, can help induce remission in some patients with inflammatory bowel disease. Children’s has dieticians who have extra experience with this and other nutritional therapies.
