Overview

Dr. Sreedharan is a board certified pediatrician and pediatric nephrologist. She is interested in caring for children with problems in all areas of pediatric nephrology. These include children with high blood pressure, blood or protein in urine, electrolyte or acid-base problems related to kidney, congenital kidney disease, acute or chronic kidney failure, children on dialysis and with kidney transplant.

Dr. Sreedharan’s research in basic science attempts to identify factors that modulate acute kidney injury. In addition, she is also involved in clinical research as the site principal investigator or co-investigator in several multicenter projects. She also enjoys working with medical students, residents and fellows to help them learn how to optimally care for the child and family. Dr. Sreedharan is a strong advocate for patient and families, and works with the child’s primary care provider and parents to provide the best and most informed care possible.
