Adult congenital heart disease webinar series
We’re proud to offer a free educational webinars for all adults living with a congenital heart defect and their loved ones. This webinar series is brought to you by the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Program within the Herma Heart Institute. Our ACHD program is one of only a few programs of its kind in the nation, and the largest program in the state of Wisconsin.
Next webinar: Mental Health and ACHD
Mental health is an increasingly important focus for all of the patients and families we serve at Children's Wisconsin and there are some important distinctions within the ACHD population. Join us on Wednesday, December 8 at 6:30 p.m. CT for a live presentation with Scott Cohen, MD, program director of adult congenital heart disease, as he shares important information for adults living with congenital heart disease and their mental health.
Over the course of a half-hour, you will hear from Dr. Cohen as he addresses:
* Mental health concerns are common in adults living with congenital heart disease
* How mental health concerns may impact quality of life
* Live questions from the audience
Registration is free but required. Can't attend live? Make sure to still register — all registrants will receive a recording of the presentations.
